On Wednesday 18th July K-2 children boarded the bus to head to Amour Park at Revesby for the Athletics Carnival. We arrived just after 10am, dressed in house colours and ready to have fun. The sun was out and the air a bit cold but we were not deterred. We started with a circuit of 5 fun activities Hurdling, Three Legged Race, Egg and Spoon Race, Sack Race and Ball Poppers. Ten minutes were spent on each activity then a whistle blew and we rotated to the next activity. When activities were finished we had a quick drink then participated in the age races. By this time the clouds had arrived and also a cold wind. Lucky for us the run had warmed us up. Our sausage sizzle lunch was had at 12.30pm and at 1.30pm we were on the buses headed back to school. Once back at school we had some play and climbing time and rested with a video till home time. It was a great day.
