Count Me In Too
In Year One we have been learning how to make addition combinations to 10. We then turned our maths work into rainbows by matching combinations that were the same. Have a look at our photos. We also enjoyed playing our “Doubles Plus One Bingo.”
Developmental Activities
In Early Stage One we are very lucky to join in some developmental activities during some afternoons. In this time we can play with the Mobilo, Lego and the puzzles. We also get to paint, dress-up and play in the home corner. There are many more fun activities for us to do. We really enjoy ourselves!
Kids Care!
This term, Stage One has been learning about caring for our environment. We discussed the importance of recycling paper to save our trees as well as to reduce the amount of rubbish in our land fill. Here are some photos showing how we can make our own paper by reusing scraps. First we had to tear and soak the scrap paper. We then blended the paper to make a pulp. We placed a layer of pulp onto a mesh tray and sprinkled it with golden paper to decorate it. We let it dry and then we finally took it out of the mesh. It looked great.
